Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how xroot.dev (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles information collected through xroot.dev and its subdomains, including app.xroot.dev (together, the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in the message.

Wallet & On-Chain Data (app.xroot.dev). When you connect a wallet, we receive your public wallet address. Transactions you initiate — token deployments, authority changes, distributions — are recorded on the relevant public blockchain and are visible to anyone.

Telegram & Discord. If you interact with our official Telegram or Discord bots, we may receive your Telegram or Discord username/ID and the content of the commands or messages you send to the bot.

Technical & Usage Data. Across the Services, we automatically collect standard technical data (IP address, browser type, device information, log data) and may use analytics tooling to understand traffic and feature usage.

What We Don’t Collect. We never collect or have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to inquiries you send us
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

4. How We Share Information

We don’t sell your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Services (hosting, email delivery, analytics), under obligations to protect it
  • Legal authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights or others’ safety
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Wallet addresses and on-chain transactions are public by the nature of blockchain technology — we don’t “share” this data so much as it’s independently visible on-chain regardless of us.

5. Data Retention

We retain email correspondence, technical data, and usage data only as long as needed to respond to inquiries, operate the Services, or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. On-chain data is retained indefinitely on the blockchain itself, outside our control.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you’re located, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you — this doesn’t extend to on-chain data, which can’t be altered or deleted by us or anyone. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Services aren’t directed at, and shouldn’t be used by, anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from minors.

9. International Transfers

Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than your own. Using the Services means you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date above.
