Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

Use of app.xroot.dev requires that you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use blockchain-based tools under the laws that apply to you. By using app.xroot.dev, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Use of xroot.dev

xroot.dev is provided for informational purposes — to publish on-chain research and technical writing. You may view and share this content for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided you credit the source. Blog posts and technical write-ups are shared for informational and educational purposes only — they’re not professional, engineering, or consulting advice tailored to your situation.

3. app.xroot.dev — Description of Service

app.xroot.dev provides tools for deploying and managing tokens on the Solana blockchain and Robinhood Chain, including:

• Token Deployment — creating new fungible tokens
• Authority Management — revoking or modifying mint, freeze, and update authorities
• Liquidity & Markets — tools to view or interact with liquidity pools and markets
• Airdrops & Distribution — tools to distribute tokens to multiple addresses
• Wallet Recovery — reclaiming rent from empty token accounts, unwrapping wrapped SOL, recovering SOL from failed deploys, and closing emptied liquidity positions

app.xroot.dev is a technical interface only. We do not issue, endorse, sell, or promote any token created through it, and we are not a party to any transaction between users, or between a user and any third party.

4. app.xroot.dev — Non-Custodial Service

app.xroot.dev is non-custodial. We never have access to, and do not store, your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials. Every transaction is signed by you, using your own wallet (e.g., Phantom, Solflare, MetaMask), and broadcast directly to the relevant blockchain network. You are solely responsible for:

• The security of your wallet, private keys, and seed phrase
• Verifying the details of every transaction before approving it
• Understanding that blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed
• Ensuring the accuracy of any recipient address list used with the Airdrops & Distribution feature — tokens sent to an incorrect address cannot be recovered

We cannot reverse, refund, or recover a transaction once it has been submitted to the network.

5. No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice

Nothing on the Services is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Any token created, distributed, or managed through app.xroot.dev is created solely at the user’s direction; we make no representation about its value, legality, or compliance with securities or financial regulation in any jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of app.xroot.dev — including any token you create or distribute — complies with the law that applies to you.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Infringe the intellectual property, trademark, or likeness rights of any third party, including impersonating a person, brand, or existing project
• Create, distribute, or promote a token in furtherance of fraud, a “rug pull,” market manipulation, or any deceptive scheme
• Issue a token that constitutes an unregistered security in violation of applicable law
• Violate economic sanctions, export control, or anti-money-laundering law
• Engage in any activity that is illegal under the laws that apply to you

Because app.xroot.dev is non-custodial, we generally cannot reverse on-chain actions already taken; we may still restrict further access to the Services for accounts reasonably suspected of violating this section.

7. Fees

xroot.dev is free to use. Every check on app.xroot.dev — wallet checks, token audits and any other read-only scan — is free too: reading public chain data costs you nothing and needs no wallet.

app.xroot.dev charges a service fee for operations that build and submit a transaction. A fee takes one of two shapes, depending on the operation:

• A share of what the operation recovers. If an operation recovers nothing, there is nothing to take a share of, and you are charged nothing.
• A flat amount in SOL for the operation, whatever its size.

Some operations carry no service fee at all.

What you see before you sign. Before you approve anything, app.xroot.dev shows the amount that will reach your wallet — the figure after our service fee and after the estimated network fee. That figure, as shown to you at the moment you sign, is the one that governs.

Fees can change. We may change our fees at any time, and they may differ between operations, between chains, and between the app and any API access we offer. A change never applies to an operation you have already signed.

Network fees are separate, and they are not ours. Every blockchain transaction costs a network fee, paid by your wallet to the network itself. We never receive it, we cannot refund it, and it moves with network conditions. It is charged whether or not the operation succeeds.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

xroot.dev links to third-party platforms; we’re not responsible for their content or practices. app.xroot.dev relies on and interacts with third-party infrastructure we don’t control, including blockchain networks, RPC providers, wallet software, and decentralized exchanges or liquidity venues. We’re not responsible for outages, exploits, delays, or losses arising from any of these third-party systems.

9. Community Channels (Telegram & Discord)

We operate official Telegram channels, a Telegram group, a Telegram bot, and a Discord server and bot (together, the “Community Channels”) to share updates and support users. If a Community Channel lets you deploy, manage, or otherwise interact with tokens, these Terms — including Sections 4 (Non-Custodial Service), 5 (No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice), and 6 (Prohibited Uses) — apply to that use the same way they apply to app.xroot.dev directly. Channels used only for discussion, announcements, or support don’t create any relationship beyond these Terms and Telegram’s or Discord’s own policies.

We will never message you first, ask for your private keys or seed phrase, or ask you to connect your wallet or approve a transaction anywhere other than app.xroot.dev directly. Any account or bot claiming to represent us and asking for this is an impersonator, not us — we are not responsible for losses caused by impersonators or scams in or around our Community Channels.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on xroot.dev — case studies, blog posts, design — and the software, design, and branding of app.xroot.dev, are owned by us or our licensors, and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without permission. You retain responsibility for, and any rights you may hold in, content or tokens you create using app.xroot.dev.

Contacting us means you confirm the information you provide is accurate. See our Privacy Policy for how that information is handled.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY TOKEN, SMART CONTRACT, OR BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK YOU INTERACT WITH VIA APP.XROOT.DEV IS FREE OF VULNERABILITIES.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF FUNDS, TOKENS, PROFITS, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES — EVEN IF WE’VE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID US (EXCLUDING NETWORK FEES) IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or damage, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or any token or transaction you create or initiate through app.xroot.dev.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, including for suspected violation of these Terms. Because app.xroot.dev is non-custodial, terminating access doesn’t affect any transaction already recorded on-chain.

16. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Services, or update these Terms, at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date above. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept them. We may also assign or transfer these Terms and the Services to another party — for example, if we later incorporate a company to operate them — without needing your separate consent, provided your rights under these Terms aren’t diminished.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
